Membership terms

At Buddy Outdoors Inc, also known as Sportsman’s Box, we offer a variety of Subscriptions and Memberships (below may be referred to as “signing up”, “user”, “member”, “subscriber”). Please review the below Subscription and Membership Terms carefully and make sure you understand them before enrolling because they contain important and relevant information regarding any Subscription and Membership you may sign up for and/or purchase, including renewal and cancellation terms. Subscriptions and Memberships are continuous and automatically renew unless you take the necessary steps to cancel or we terminate your account.

By purchasing and/or signing up, you agree and acknowledge that your membership may have an initial charge and recurring payment charge at the then-current subscription rate and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges that have increased in price and prior to cancellation, as well as our Terms and Conditions.

Renewal dates will be as close to the original renewal dates as possible. However, now that the shipping schedule follows a structured timeline in February, May, August, and November, some renewals may occur sooner.

Memberships and Subscriptions may and can be to a regularly curated box of gear shipped quarterly, software that is a service, or to a third-party partner's software, box, or any other type of membership/subscription.

Even though boxes ship every three months, Memberships and Subscriptions can be paid monthly, quarterly, and annually. If you have any questions on how the different payment plans work, we would be happy to explain further at [email protected]

All Subscriptions and Memberships are set to automatically renew. Your credit card will be charged up to a month in advance of the subsequent box shipment date, and every season thereafter.

Cancellation Policy. Subscribers may cancel at any time, however, if an outstanding balance is due on any seasonal Sportsman’s Box you will have to pay the balance in full for the subscription to be canceled that day. If you do not wish to pay the balance in full that day you can pay the balance out on your normal payment schedule but must let customer service know you wish to cancel the subscription after the balance is paid. Your final box will be shipped according to the shipping schedule.

In order to cancel a Subscription or Membership, you must do one of the following: (a) email us at [email protected] to indicate that you wish to cancel and help us improve by letting us know why you are canceling; (b) Head over to Contact Us and request cancellation. Please note that once a cancellation request has been submitted, no changes can be made to your account without necessary confirmation from you. If our customer service team does not hear back from you following the request for cancellation, your subscription will remain active.

Any cancellation or pause applies to future renewals and/or charges, and does not apply to a previous renewal. Returns will not be accepted outside of the buy-back program without authorization from a member of the customer service team.

Sportsman’s Box Subscription is a box of gear curated for the hunter, angler, outdoorsman, and specific to one's interest. Each box contains an assortment of products and gear, including but not limited to calls, sprays, apparel, footwear, headwear, and more. 

Shipping and Taxes. Stated prices for Subscriptions and Membership and merchandise do not include any customs duties, sales, use, value-added, excise, federal, state, local, or other taxes. You are solely responsible for the payment of such taxes related to your purchase. We may charge you for any taxes that we believe we are required to pay or collect related to your purchase.

Data Transfers. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we may transfer your billing information to our third-party payment processors, other service providers, and certain trusted third parties.

Address Changes. Due to the streamlining of any order that is shipped to a physical address, all address changes must be made before an order's shipping label is created. If you need assistance in changing your address, all correspondence with [email protected] must be sent prior to the shipping label being created.  Please note if your box is returned to our warehouse due to an incorrect address, unavailable mail receptacle, or hold expiration you will be required to pay a re-shipment fee ( $10 for US $50 for Canada and Alaska) or the box will not be returned. 

International Fees - Foreign exchange or transaction fees may apply for non-US customers and are non-refundable.
